Part V. 클러스터 부트스트랩

클러스터의 출발점을 다룬다. 빈 데이터 디렉토리에서 시작한 첫 노드가 initdb로 클러스터를 만들고, 나머지 노드가 pg_basebackup으로 replica가 되어 태어나는 과정이 Patroni의 기본 bootstrap이다. 이 기본 경로를 pgBackRest 같은 백업 도구로 바꾸는 방법과, 이미 실행 중인 PostgreSQL을 Patroni 관리로 옮기는 절차, 그리고 복제 흐름 전체를 받치는 replication slot 관리까지 살핀다.
